Apparently you are new to this topic.

All cancer drug trials start in Phase I dose escalation trail by treating late stage cancer patients that have failed the best standards of care possible.

These patients are are at a stage of disease where their cancer is refractory to the best chemotherapy available. this is not by Dr. Krishna Menon's DVM choice. The FDA and Dana Farber both pick the inclusion and exclusion criteria for the trial.

It is not time wasted the purpose of this Phase I trial is to determine if Kevetrin is safe in humans and the maximum tolerable dose level before the side effects out way the benefits of Kevetrin. The efficacy of Kevetrin is a secondary outcome of the trial.

Try to focus on my main point rather than minutia.

Look at table 2 and compare the IC50 values of Kevetrin to the IC50 values for a few other common cancer drugs against a variety of cancer types. THINK THINK THINK!!!
