"They did not file before the deadline because they did not have the ticker change approved. They want to file with the new ticker and new name and their other corporate actions approved by FINRA."
Indeed that was their explanation.....unfortunately it doesn't make any sense. Go back and look at the previous filings and decide for yourself what benefit would be gained by making the new disclosure filings under the new name and ticker. Or you can trust me when I tell you that the only thing that would change is the headings on the forms. Because "they want to", if it is the reason, would be a foolish one given that their lateness likely cost them in the share price. As I implied, I believe the "tasting" would have benefited the price, which it obviously did not, if the company had made their filings on time (and if they made any sense).

"....they have stated that all the sec filings are ready to be filed immediately upon ticker change approval. If that is so, why are they fooling with OTC filings, and why does it take until the end of the month?"
I think that's a great point. I MIGHT have made it myself if I believed this to be true:
"the sec filings are ready"

I'm not sure when they made that statement....all the press releases prior to May have been removed from their website for some reason....but I remember hearing it.

Questioning company statements is something that I've been doing for quite a while. Sometimes it's hard for me to get to them all.
