birdiehunter - who makes the sensors?

there are hundreds of companies that make something that falls into the category of "sensors", and even now we're more surrounded by things that have sensors in them (how many sensors are in your car, eh?) than ever before. Even things like commercial light bulbs will/are coming off the factory floor with sensors... and means of communication.

I did a quick search to find a good overview for you, and this site (I have no relationship with them) lists some of the applications for sensors.

Once you've narrowed down what applications are most interesting to you…. we can research the companies that are enabling it.
