This is a link to a Sept 23, 2014 IID Board Meeting in which details of the Mesquite Lake project were delineated beyond what VSPC's PRs have revealed. I believe this is for the Energy Park 1 project which would use a combination of Wood and GKG as feedstocks to generate electricity. Even so, it is estimated that approx. 2,500 acres of GKG would be planted to produce 68,000 tons of GKG. It does not give a target date for the plant. However, it does say taht they are doing this to ohelp meet California's commitment to have 33% of its electricity come from renewable sources by 2020. I have seen nothing yet in regards to Energy Park #2 which is the manure biodigester that is supposed to be converted to use GKG instead.
