That's so true and I've posted similar thoughts in the past.

Having said that, another way of looking at this, which imo better puts our 'working money'/investment in perspective, is to not be too hard on oneself and consider the nature of our OCATA investment 'beast'.

Clearly, any penny stock, let alone a r and d biotech, falls into the category ofa very, very high risk investment and should always be kept in that perspective and investment category in one's portfolio.

IMO, besides being 'fun' and/or astute enough to discover a promising penny, there is the potential for a huge reward.
Does it happen often? NO!
Is it usually a stupid investment?
Depends on one's proclivities, but probably a fairly definite YES!

Having said all that, hope springs eternal and it's sure much more 'fun' than being in some staid utility stock.
Let's never forget, IBM, Haloid (Xerox), Microsoft, etc., etc., were pennys at one time long ago.
So yes, hope springs eternal and there is a santa claus.
