That's a slightly new twist on the always amusing "CUSIP change is going to be the end of shorty" line.

So I will play....lets stipulate for the purposes of this argument that what you say is correct.

That would mean that almost everyone that has bought shares in the last....oh say 4 months (since the short volume has been high and to make your theory work that would all really have to be "air shares")...those purchasers actually bought air shares...and when the CUSIP changes they won't have any tradable shares any more.

....correct? Because that is the natural conclusion one would have to make from your supposition.
