Y'know, most of us are favorably impressed by a weatherman that makes a prediction that proves out true; perhaps something on the order of the following:

"Wednesday will have light showers until about noon and then the skies will clear by midafternoon. Morning temperature will be 63 degrees with a high of 77."

THAT kind of prediction provides useful data with which to plan. His powers of prediction are much less impressive and utterly useless if he says:

"We will have weather on Wednesday, wait for it. Tune in Thursday to receive the forecast."

There is a 100% probability that SOMETHING, ANYTHING will happen....there is no credit to be had for predicting that things won't be exactly the same every day.
