From my past experiences.... it usually takes up to a week for those that held prior to the split to have their shares adjusted to the new count post split. Some trading sites take longer than others. During that time most everyone is locked out of those shares and can't place orders with them. But, if a person bought some right now they would just be separate from the shares you already show holding pre split.Eventually, they would all come together I believe once the pre split shares are adjusted.

Once the "D" is on the symbol, some brokers out there don't allow trading of it until the shares are updated.

I recall on ELR# when they did a split in the end of April and got the D volume was super light for a week or so as most couldn't buy or sell, the pps came down and then it rose about 100% 2 weeks later when volume picked up and it was tradable by everyone. Ultimately it fell back as we know.
