China has been a tough nut for VGREF to crack because the usable land is dedicated to food production and expensive. Given that China grows food to feed a population closing in on 2 billion people, there are also plenty of crop remainders to feed biodigester plants which is more cost efficient than licensing GKG. If I were VGREF, I would be pushing the use of GKG for marginal, unused land to grow animal feed and prevent desertification, which is a big problem in China.

So far, there is no evidence that VGREF is looking for help from VSPC in China. VSPC has stated they are asking help from VGREF to commercialize opportunities in Asia. Although, frankly, I do not know what help VGREF can provide with the possible exception of providing seedlings from their 467 acre plantation (might be cheaper than shipping them from the US). Chang might also have some connections in Asia.
