it would be stupid for mel watt to not do it as he knows it well that senate rules were changed for him and him only and r would be all over him to take it out on him. rather release by year end and manage them and enjoy it.
as far as fairlhome, i do not think it is true. even if it is true, i think it is part of largere strategy. he does not want govt to weaken ackman's case. govt could say that fairlhome owns commons and ruling by lamberth has been made and thus applies to comons too and thus applies to ackman too. now it won't if bloomberg is right. other is that fairlhome never sold, and if so bloomberg should be ashamed. lastly it could be that he is educating to not divulge position and get the rhetoric out of the way that hedge funds are getting richer. comments?
