Profits is not the only thing to look at, but it is important. And I'm not comparing AMZN to NGHT. I agree AMZN will be around. I was just using and example of companies that have revenue growth, doesn't mean something to swear by. Because at the end of the day if you can't earn a profit I won't be buying you, and that doesn't mean I will buy something that has profits that is just the first hoop it has to jump through to stay in the discussion for the most part.
The point I was try to make is at the end of day revenue growth eventuually has to turn into profits. I was also trying to make the point that AMZN has a balance sheet, I should of used a small growing company that has a strong balance sheet but doesn't have profits yet. The point I was trying to make is if you have a healthy balance sheet and are growing rapidly you can wait for the spiget, but if you have a bad balance sheet (NGHT) it make profitability to happen right now far more important in my opinion, because if you keep reporting losses with a bad balance sheet that is eventually how you go out of business in my opinion. Not saying that is happening to NGHT, but it makes it more important that the profits happen now not in future somewhere over the rainbow, because you may not be around by the time that occurs when you have a bad balance sheet in my opinion.
