That is actually the pretty explainable part ... On the boat there was no control to measure against. The guy just said that he used less on one trip than he did on another trip with the unit. I have been told that there are boat dynometers, but a test on one of those never happened, did it? Someone else posted that a long time ago. I don't know if it is correct but it sounds good to me.
