Be careful about extrapolating too much from a preclinical study. The usefulness of this 2012 article is in strengthening associations between high HA and the antitumor response to HA depletion with PEG. They used fourteen tumor models with varying characteristics. The two cell lines that came from lung cancer cannot be generalized to the very heterogeneous population that is NSCLC. That said, for reasons primarily relating to studies in humans, I like HALO's next choice for PEG development.
