The news about them developing their own head mounted virtual display is interesting. I happen to know they use Schott Fiber Optics' tapers for the near eye optics on some of their military displays, and those are high quality, and high cost optics. Not lenses but actual fiber optics bundles tapered for magnification. Not sure if they would be using them for this application, but if they do, the optics quality would be very good, but not very cheap. High end gamers would probably pay for it, but not sure how big that market is.
I'm thinking anything under $3 is cheap, so I'm adding some.
