Not exactly - the Chinese market does not have the "respect factor" of American markets such as the NYSE, AMEX etc. Furthermore, while AIVI has listed in HK, the regulatory tape is sometimes a pain.

BABA, for example, could have stayed in China but decided to IPO here - there's alot more exposure and the ability to raise larger sums of private capital, plus they had issues with HK regulatory tape.

I believe Guo will be back at some point in the near term - the US has an easy environment for raising capital, the issue is exposure. How many people will have heard of AIVI outside of this board, and how well can they market their company here?

As a side note, Vancouver, CN and CA have seen alot of monetary flow from Chinese expatriates who are looking for alternate sources of income, as you never know with the regional/national govts what could happen. Guo is in good with the government now, but should something happen...
