SAN DIEGO, CA, Nov 11, 2014 (Marketwired via COMTEX) -- Envision Solar International, Inc., (otcqb:EVSI) ("Envision Solar," or the "Company"), the leading renewable energy Media and Branding, and EV charging product company, announced today that it has moved into a 31,000 sq./ft. manufacturing facility in Miramar, San Diego. The Company will produce EV ARC(TM) and Solar Tree® products for its growing list of customers in this new location.

Envision Solar recently announced over $2M in orders for its EV ARC(TM) and Solar Tree® HVLC products. These and future orders will be fulfilled in the new facility.

"This is a very important step in our evolution," said Desmond Wheatley, CEO of Envision Solar. "We have more contracted backlog than we have ever had and we believe that our growth trajectory is set to continue. I'm confident that having our own fabrication and assembly facility will significantly enhance our ability to reduce costs and delivery time while we improve quality and continue to evolve our products."

Envision Solar will start to produce EV ARC(TM) and Solar Tree® products at the new facility in the fourth quarter. The EV ARC(TM) products will be shipped to major corporate customers including a Silicon Valley based search engine company, a biotech company, a major automobile company and a Californian city. The Company will continue to source components from its current vendors.
