Brekford Reports 44% Increase in Third Quarter 2014 Revenue

HANOVER, MD, Nov 07, 2014 (Marketwired via COMTEX) -- Brekford Corp. (the "Company") (OTCBB: BFDI) (OTCQB: BFDI), a leading public safety technology service provider of fully integrated automated traffic safety solutions, parking enforcement citation collections and an end-to-end suite of technology equipment for public safety vehicle services, today announced its operating results for the third quarter and first nine months of 2014.
Third Quarter Highlights

-- Revenue increased 44% year-over-year reaching $5.31 million;
-- Gross profit increased 72% year-over-year reaching $1.17 million;
-- Gross margin percentage increased to 22.0%, compared to 18.4% in the
same period of 2013;
-- Operating expenses decreased 20% year-over-year to $0.96 million,
compared to $1.2 million in the same period of 2013;
-- Net income increased 128% year-over-year reaching $0.16 million;
-- The Company received several large purchase orders for upfitting
services;
-- In October 2014 the Company's exclusive distributor in Mexico signed
its first major contract to deploy 210 speed and red light camera
systems throughout the city of Saltillo, Coahuila.
