I've heard from a number of posters on boards where they say they've been lucky enough to pick up shares at $.00005 when they've had bids in at $.0001.

Not sure how it works from the MM side, but from what I gather, someone would have had to make the mistake of placing a market order to sell their shares rather than a limit order.

Further insight would have to come from the people at the DD and Fraud board.
