Actually, that's not correct. There have been 2 8k's filed since the letter to the shareholders on August 4.
One on 8/27, and another on 10/21.

While they may not have been significant, they do indicate the CEO is attempting to improve communication with shareholders. Obviously, more would be better, but let's no ignore the filings that have been made.
