GANDER.tv’s Founder and CEO Chris Carey shares his thoughts on streaming media success, first hand.

* What do you feel will make GANDER.tv continue to succeed?

We will continue to attract a growing audience with an increasing number of performances, with increased quality of broadcasts and adding new cities to our group of venues. We will add new and exciting genres of entertainment and expand our distribution network with partnerships.



* What clients have used your services and what were the results?

We are providing amazing exposure to our venues, bringing millions of viewers from around the US and Canada to their content each month. In addition, we have brought great exposure to the artists. We get constant positive feedback on the services to our clients.



* What equipment / software do you use to stream media?

We have a proprietary platform for streaming. In each venue, we install a controller and a Sony camera, either a microphone or connect to the soundboard, and connect to the Internet. The live stream and archived recordings are available on all devices. Our system is on Amazon Web Services.



* Can you tell us how: GANDER.tv has helped acquire significant exposure for NYC venues and emerging artist?

We partner with the venue, the promoter and the artists, and utilize social media and other digital marketing tools to attract an audience. We have built a large number of applications that enable us to leverage the broadcasts in our communications, including sending links out and embedding the stream on 3rd party web sites and on Facebook.



* What are your company’s plans for the future? What trends in tech and streaming media are you noticing on the horizon?

We will continue to expand our offering, we are now broadcasting over 200 performances a week from 40+ venues, and our reach with more cities and more venues. We will offer a mobile broadcasting solution, and expand to HD in the near future. We will also introduce a mobile app for consumers that will make connecting and watching shows more convenient.

These are very exciting times for our company, we are getting amazing feedback from clients on how our service has enhanced their relationship with their customers and the performers.
