Ideally the FDA would and should use modern scientific method that demands all pertinent facts be considered. Clearly that is not being done. The next best thing would be to lay out conditions they expect to be met, and that is what they say they are doing. Unfortunately in the Amarin case they are not doing this. Instead they are selectively choosing information they feel does not support Amarin's hypothesis even to the point of perverting and distorting the facts to meet their argument. They also at the same time are ignoring facts germane to Amarin's argument. This is nothing more than authoritarian science.
