Actually FTG and seismic are no more reliable on land than they are offshore. They are often LESS reliable because you have to shoot seismic through rock instead of water. Do you think rock is easier to shoot seismic through than water? And no, Africa Oil wasn't on the fast track and neither was ERHC. Both took as long as they had.
