Ziplock is a retired ophthalmologist, a great clinician I can attest and one I sent all my post op problem eyes to. He has pointed out that the FDA requirements for getting an approval for the DES indication are very difficult because the FDA wants to seen corneal pathology and this is tricky from a clinical point. Too bad its not just symptomatic relief.

The best chance is word of mouth. I try to get all DES patient to tell their doctors..DES is a P.I.T.A to the eye doctors.
