I have read it before. I also know securities laws and regulations, particularly as they apply to mining. What you quoted is some possible guidelines (provided by CIM for reference) for property valuations for commercial real estate transactions. Not public company disclosure.

SEC regulations and US securities laws strictly prohibit companies from stating in ground values. If you ever see a company giving a dollar value for their property based on minerals purported to exist in-ground, it is a fraud. Have you ever seen Barrick or Newmont giving a dollar value of their gold and silver in ground? Nope. Because it is illegal.

And NI 43-101 has the exact same prohibition.
