Al, I had to change health care providers too. I switched insurance carriers last year to save some money. Had I stayed with my former insurance provider I would have seen a full 100% increase in premiums under their new plan rather than an 82% increase by switching.

After I switched, I found out that my personal physician of 25 years was not an approved provider with the new insurance company. So I had to find a new doctor for my annual physicals and referrals.

So no, I did not save money-I'm paying much more than before.
I was not able to keep my old health plan.
I also had to find a new physician.
That's 3 strikes against Obama and his empty promises.

Btw, Last year, when I asked why my insurance rate increased so much- I was given the pitch that it now offered new benefits such as maternity care. Not sure how that really helps this 60 year old man, though.
