still believe the detachable form factor is the right evolution of the laptop.

I don't. this is basically a tablet with a keyboard attachment. battery in the tablet, processor in the tablet, storage in the tablet, to get decent laptop performance the tablet has to be huge, which they aren't, so as a laptop performance not so good. Edit: performance/dollar terrible
