Today's news from Chinese internet.

Hebei Province government ordered that from Nov 1st, 2386 business institutions and 2445 construction sites have to stop working to reduce smog in Beijing during the meeting of APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Corporation). Beijing is located in Hebei Province. Hebei Province produced 286 million tonnes of crude steel last year, more than whole European Union. Hebei is about the same size as Ohio.
I think in the past 30 years of chasing fast economy growth, Chinese companies ignored pollution control to save cost when they built new factories. Now, the trouble comes. No wonder that China needs NEV. NEV market in China will not die, or Chinese will die. Green business is one of the six major government planned economic sectors in China now.
