Confirmed last week on Larry King by top experts in the field: ebola can be spread by coughing, but they're trying to downplay it by saying that the spittle/bodily fluid typically lands only a few feet away...

ON A PLANE THAT IS EVERYTHING! Squashed next to people who are inches away and the plane recirculates air:
it's already known that cold germs can infect the whole cabin, and with coach/cattle cramming in many more per sq. foot than business or first, if you fly cattle class you are very likely to get sick!

The government has been lying to us. The conservatives on Fox who have been ridiculed for saying this all along are proven right. They were skeptical of the CDC spokespeople all along.
And I'm not a Republican, but this shouldn't be a political issue.

HOWEVER just because someone has a fever doesn't mean they have ebola of course: they could have a common cold or flu or some minor infection.

They shouldn't be treated health care workers like pariahs even if they have no symptoms, someone who has taken extreme precautions is likely to be much less dangerous than unsuspecting plane passengers next to someone sneezing the whole time.

As far as this stock: a cheap thermometer where the taker doesn't have to touch the subject is invaluable as one screening tool. How the government reacts to anyone having a temperature from any other cause is another matter.

The thermometers are useful with kids who hate thermometers, and many other settings as well. It's not just "an ebola play," as it's been described on Monday in the article I linked in previous post. Limiting it like that limits the stock too much.
