I've been chewing on this since the call. This answer made no sense to me and I'm grappling with the implications.

Suffice to say, I've run the gamut of possibly explanations in my head.

The transcript from the 2014 Q3 states that they focused on components with longer lead times and ensuring they had enough of those to deliver the big order. They also stated that those were fortunately not overly expensive. So in theory they are building up lower cost, longer-lead-time inventory and not tying up capital on more expensive, shorter-lead-time inventory. Makes sense.

If that's the case, why didn't they say that on this call when I asked them this question?
