While her post covers some good info; there is much more as guns and options of carry have changed. Purses - Watch for purse that appear to have something really heavy in one corner or one section; sometimes a bit of a bulge. Watch for purses that have a heavy 'Thud' when they get set down. Watch for those bags at hand length the hand stays close no matter what; this gets confusing because this also to stop theft, but just be on the alert. Watch for the newer purses that have a 'bi-fold' type of design as they usually have a gun holster built into them on one side or in the fold. There are many, and for it's worth, a lot of women I know have very heavy pursers and they don't have a gun in them.
