Do you have plans to upgrade your system?

I had another question someone may be able to answer. I don't have cable out here in the sticks, so I depend on the satellite. I once had MagicJack for phone service and found that it didn't work well because of the voice delay of "like" 2 seconds...like you often witness on news clips broadcast via satellite. Lots of silent moments.

I wonder if this delay would effect one's speed while playing video games online? Has anyone here played online via satellite connection? Having a cable hookup may be a prerequisite for gaming.
