Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo, the only large scale comic book and multi-media pop-culture convention, returns to the Los Angeles Convention Center this weekend, October 31-November 2, 2014. Entering its fourth year, Stan Lee’s Comikaze looks to build off its third year attendance of an astounding 55,000 fans from all over the country.

The combination of 600 diverse artists and vendors with limited edition comics, art, and toys mixed with some truly unique discussion panels, photo-ops, and chances to meet the creators of all things awesome through autograph sessions make the Comikaze Expo one of the most diverse pop-culture events in the nation.

Given all this it is no wonder that the patriarch of Marvel Comics, Stan “The Man” Lee became a partner with the convention putting his name into the title. The writer, producer and all-around fun guy has also become one of the great attractions of the show appearing on panels as well as at the Stan Lee Mega Museum.

In addition to Lee, many other comic book greats are among the guests of honor for the 2014 show including: Rob Liefeld “Deadpool,” Brian Michael Bendis “All-New X-Men,” John Romita Jr. “Superman,” Jim Lee “Justice League,” Kevin Smith and Ralph Garman “Batman ’66 meets the Green Hornet,” J. Scott Campbell “Danger Girl,” Marc Silvestri “Cyber Force,” and Whilce Portacio “Incredible Hulk.” There are many more artists and writers appearing and signing at the convention as well as notable publishers.

The unique panels will certainly drive fans of every aspect of pop-culture to fill the seats. You can be live at "tapings" of some of the top podcasts including “Fatman on Batman” and “The Nerdist Writer’s Panel Comics Edition” as the panelists will be recording live and discussing great comics. You can see your favorite comic legends go under the spotlight and examine the careers and the work and decisions that made them legends at Spotlight Panels. Not to mention casts and crew from popular television shows of the past, present, and future attending to fan the flames of excitement.

Each day has a wide range of panels with something for everyone. The full schedule for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are posted on the Comikaze website. Be sure to read them over early so you don’t miss yur favorite creators and events. Then check back on the day of the event to make note of any changes to the schedule.

If celebrity meet-ups are your thing, Comikaze has a plethora of guests from all your favorite TV shows and movies. Some of the guests have offered “Ticket Add-Ons” for VIP experiences for fans who want something a little more.
