Add a filtration system to the main line coming into the home and it cleans everything..water used to make ice, washing machine, showers, all faucets (cooking), and dishwasher.

Unlike APWC which you have to take up an ungodly amount of room in the fridge to chill it without using ice and that's basically for drinking purposes only.

I guess people can invest in a water (beer) fridge.
