I suspect that many of we small time, retired "investors" are in an identical situations, chasing the lottery win that will never come.
I guess the message here is that LQMT is not immune to a dramatic fall, and there is no morality when it comes to making profits. It's nice to be on the receiving end when things go well but no fun at all when you lose. "Stockholders" seemingly are the last to win and the first to lose when owning individual stocks.
Sort of like a horse race and the tiresome cliche that never invest (gamble) more than you can lose. I've heard a lot from people who "hit it big" but not much at all from those who "lost a lot" even though I'd bet there must be many more losers than winners.
