You know, I don't want to go off on a rant about how unfair a situation may be but things like this are testimony to the notion we are way out of our league when investing our hard earned money in individual stocks. I've been "taken out" by four companies now and have lost 60% of my savings by "corporate manipulations" of similar circumstances.

I suspect that many of we small time, retired "investors" are in an identical situations, chasing the lottery win that will never come.

I guess the message here is that LQMT is not immune to a dramatic fall, and there is no morality when it comes to making profits. It's nice to be on the receiving end when things go well but no fun at all when you lose. "Stockholders" seemingly are the last to win and the first to lose when owning individual stocks.

Sort of like a horse race and the tiresome cliche that never invest (gamble) more than you can lose. I've heard a lot from people who "hit it big" but not much at all from those who "lost a lot" even though I'd bet there must be many more losers than winners.
