Just to summerize our world. Please add, or correct where incorrect, old brain here. Enjoy.
First off, I know chartist normally don't agree with this statement however, SLTD defies charting, it pretty much goes where it wants. I have held this stock since 2012. As have a number of other longs. I am up up up. The only prediction that sticks is UP!
Second, this is a 3D solar cell. What does that mean? Well it collects light and bounces it around in chambers collecting more of the energy. That alone was a 25% increase in efficiency over current technology in the first prototype. Then you add the ability to start capturing sunlight earlier in the day to later in the day, remember the 3d structure, you have a cell that is almost 300% more efficient than anything out there. The alternative with normal cells is install tracking devices, which still not be as efficient, and cost a lot more money as well as being subject to breakdown and repair costs. Also, here you have smaller panels getting the same job done as current big panels. Less cost to buy, quicker payback to owner, more savings in the long run.
We are currently waiting on an announcement of a manufacturing partner. Unlike some of the others our CEO Jim Nelson, look him up, has decided the profitable path here is to license the technology.
There is a patent pending on the cell, it has gone through three prototype stages and is now in the lab to fab stage.
On the other side, in January of this year we acquired a company called SUNworks in CA. This company in Q2 of this year reported nearly 8 mil in revenue and profit around 750K. That is going to be about, some think, around 20mil revenue for 3Q.
We were mentioned recently by Obama in regards to a greening project at a CA. recycling plant that the company had just finished installing panels for. Big news event. In addition the company has a massive project underway at the Jackson Wineries in CA.
SUNworks as just announce moving into a 12,000+ new warehouse. Partially to support new territory in Southern CA. They are hiring personnel now to handle that expansion. My hope is that it will also house millions of new 3D panels soon to be manufactured!
JN has stated that we will have new acquisition partner by end of year 2014. That translates into higher PPS AS WELL.
At this time we are awaiting a number of events.
1. 3Q filing.
2. Manufacturing partner.
3. New acquisition before end of year.
4. Patent approval (not critical as we have patent pending protection for 20 years) which will boost PPS even more.

Don't gamble; take all your savings and buy some good stock and hold it till it goes up, then sell it. If it don't go up, don't buy it.
