"Nothing more than a trader?" You have no idea what I do. I am not going to sit here and knock you if you're an e-trader, a retail stockbroker, piker, receptionist or whatever you are. You have your opinion and I have my opinion. Guess what? I never been wrong with blackberry in over 12 years. Every time I post my opinion on this board, I always encounter the so-called expert of Blackberry. You know how many guys I've made look like fools on this board including a guy I personally know who writes on the Crackberry blog site and the another at Alpha.

First, yes I am a trader, very proud, successful and enjoy what I do - my expertise Is understanding order flow when it comes to speculation trading.

Second, I was the head market maker of a large known firm for 10 years on the street which includes institutional sales. - I still have my book. After Wall Street, raised 2 series B rounds, and developed two successful businesses that I eventually sold (guess what? I still traded during that time). Today, I manage two pe funds, (about to close my 3rd), and a small VC fund. All my deals are solid, earnings and high valuation.

Blackberry missed the chance in 2010 and I'm not sold on their latest model. Blackberry is exactly like many companies who were highly successful, became complacent and failed to adapt to changes especially in the advancement of the mobile device. Branding is everything. It doesn't matter if the "book value is higher than the stock price". The moment you lose connection to the consumer - you lost.
