And then there's ALEK. Whose to say every voted out incumbent won't be replaced by another just as bought and paid for as the one being voted out. ALEK was created by the wealthy elite to ensure that. Why waste time lobbying a new batch of members of congress when it's cheaper and easier to just buy them before election. It's going to take more than a couple election cycles to change that. It's going to take personal pride and moral integrity and there's not much of that left.
