The empty fruit bunch is processed through Sawipac's empty bunch press........ which also incorporates a set of shearing blades for size reduction. This would be the initial phase of size reduction. Remember seeing Brian and Cal standing on the huge grey coloured MF-777 years ago at QL? What if this MF-777 had been repainted your lime green. The EFB could be processed in the bunch press...............then conveyed to the huge MF-777.......then that output from the 777 could be sent down three separate conveyors to the three smaller darker green KDS's for finer processing..........before being conveyed to hoppers to then be fed into the pelletizer. In one smooth assembly line.......the EFB would be processed through two KDS's, each time achieving smaller particle size and less moisture content......without having to store and rehandle the EFB from the 777 before running it through the smaller model S-6's which handle less TPH.
