Not at all. The point is daily regsho numbers quoting the initial leg of a trade transaction [such as your post below] are meaningless without showing the ftd's, and final disposition of those shares.

What possible help is it to know only the initial leg of a trade transaction? Yet those numbers are frequently posted. Why? It's only confusing to the newbies who might think that number is actual short interest when, of course, it is not.
