Li-ion batteries contain toxic halogens...
...and "could be replaced with halogen-free electrolytes that are both nontoxic and environmentally friendly.....strategies can also be used to design cathode materials in Li-ion batteries" ...[insert; like using Non-HM QDot cathodes for instance]
