While this information and discussion has been helpful, I think most folks including chartists, would agree that all gaps do not have to be filled and there are numerous examples of stocks where fundamental dynamics just dominate, overwhelm and the gaps never get filled?
I am of the understanding that this may be a common, but not an inevitable dynamic of chartist science.
