ZUM: I can really relate to this study from my own experience. About a year ago, I was very short of breath and had to go into the hospital. A cardiac catheterization was done, indicating that I needed a stent. The interventional cardiologist was hesitant to do a PCI because the bifurcated coronary vessel, which would the target of the stenting, was difficult to treat. My cardiologist convinced him to try and, in a 2 hour procedure, which usually takes much less time, the PCI was performed successfully with two stents being placed. I left the hospital the day following the procedure, feeling well and on Vascepa. The study you linked appears to be additional evidence that Vascepa might have played a roll in the positive results in my own treatment.
