I'm just doing some more quick digging while I have a few minutes right now. From an earlier CATA 10K filed with the SEC on 5/7/2002, it is indicated that CATA was originally "founded on August 23, 1947" as within the Edgar link below:

Maybe this is just another coincidence, but see below under the "About" section from the "what might be" the new CATA website. You will see that it says "the company was founded on August 23, 1947" on the first sentence of this page below:
