$RTN,...Raytheon announces $131M contract from FAA

The FAA has awarded Raytheon (RTN) with a $131M contract for Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) Dual Frequency Operations (DFO) Segment 1.

WAAS is the U.S.' Satellite-Based Augmentation System designed to promote air traffic safety.

Under the terms of the contract, Raytheon will enhance overall system capability as the FAA moves toward a dual frequency system.
