I disagree for the following reasons:

First...a big deal was made of the convertible bonds...and yet those bonds, if converted and sold, doesn't add up to much shares either.

Second...this stock moves, for example, down 6% just today on what 155,000 shares.

One doesn't have to short much to manipulate the share price...of course, lots of money over the years has been made shorting this stock with just a million shares...

...and I don't care that in the grand scheme of things, if oil is found none of that will matter...

...because in my opinion, while it is fair for someone to go long OR short any stock, given that this stock has no assets or revenues to speak of and therefore no real valuation as to what it might have under ground...

...its investors are more likely to succumb to emotions which can be manipulated, per any behavioral economics study of it.

And profiting in that manner, in my opinion breaches ethics...

...so if you want high ground? That's my high ground.
