"I thought he answered directly that under his definition EbolaCide was, is, has been ready for testing."

I read it differently. A lot differently. Both as to his directness and as to exactly what was, is and has been ready for testing.

His original statement was:
"We're recreating the drug in this new format, and we should have it ready for testing in the next 30 days."

His clarification statement started with a description of the process:
"Evaluate the nature of the receptor protein

Design the small molecular version of that protein (ligand) on the computer

Translate that information into a chemical construction plan of the ligand(s) in the lab

As soon as you’re far enough along in the process, start the testing of the different ligand variations IN THE LAB! "

When you asked him directly "Within your meaning of ready for testing, is EbolaCide ready?"...

He said "It depends what you mean by ready for what. For shipping? Not until we’ve completed the testing in our lab."
Whether that meets a person's definition of "answered directly" is admittedly subjective, but it appears to me that "Ebolacide" was not ready for shipping OR "testing in our lab".



Let's recap...and see if he answered directly whether under his definition EbolaCide was, is, and has been ready for testing:
1. In his original statement he uses the words "the drug" and "it" to describe exactly what the company should have ready for testing in 30 days.
2. In the final step of the process that he provided the descriptors "the drug" and "it" turned into "different ligand variations".

I believe that you would be VERY hard pressed to find any non-scientists, which I think describes the vast majority of NNVC investors (and onlookers), who thought that his original statement referred to anything other than Ebolacide2 when referring to "the drug" and "it".

If his intent in the original statement was to indicate that different ligand variations, one of which might eventually become Ebolacide2 should be ready for testing in our lab in 30 days, a clear and honest way to say that would have been some way other than:
"We're recreating the drug in this new format, and we should have it ready for testing in the next 30 days."



ps. I'm not addressing the plausibility of his apparent expectation that everyone should know that he was referring to testing in the NNVC lab, but again, I believe that lay folks believed, based on his original statement that the drug would be ready for testing in the next 30 days in an independent lab. Perhaps more knowledgeable people, such as those that might be assembled for one of his speaking engagements would know better, but I sure didn't.
