I've noticed that when people are long a stock (any stock, not just NNVC) if the stock goes up it's because smart investors are buying. It's never due to manipulation by MMs (even though they can as readily make money on small upticks in the price as they can on small downticks in the price). Most "MMs" today are HFT bots. Do you really think the bots give a damn whether the price goes up or down? All they care is that they can guess the direction, whether up or down, 5 ms before everyone else.

OTOH if the price goes down it's always due to evil shorters and MM, never because smart investors are selling.
