How high or low will it go? When to buy or sell? Basically we're looking at ocean waves and trying to guess the height of the next wave or the depth of the next trough. Stocks can and will do pretty much anything over short terms. MSFT didn't go straight up, it got to the top, but only after a series of unnerving falls that led people to question Bill Gates' leadership. Just remember, the more you know, the more you know that you don't know. Thus it follows that the people who know the least are pretty darned sure of themselves. LOL.
