Bravo! Surprisingly, not everyone recognizes the power of owning the full solution stack, from hardware and platform, to OS and application software.

It is also extremely expensive. When Apple can no longer offer
differentiation and/or snob value versus competitors then this
advantage becomes a significant millstone around their neck.
