Quality of Life after DCVax treatment …. L versus Direct.

Seems to me that early indications in the Direct trial include that the patients Quality of Life improves .... whereas they did not experience any Quality of Life improvement with any of their prior treatments. Which is great.

But then I got to wondering .... what about the patients that receive DCVax-L in the phase III trial .... since the SoC includes radiation and chemo, and these take place prior to a patient receiving L ... does this mean that for these patients there may not be any Quality of Life improvement effect since the SoC takes its toll? Perhaps the QoL effect kicks in a bit later?

Perhaps patients in Germany under HE will be able to receive DCVax-L without also requiring prior chemo ... and perhaps they will then experience a more immediate QoL improvement. This could help in making DCVax-L in Germany a desired treatment quickly, based on word of mouth. Which would be great, since no company marketing is allowed under the HE.
